Their show “Home Town” has been a big hit and the new season starts Monday. Grand Home Furnishings is pleased to offer the Napier’s Scotsman American Heirloom Collection and the Laurel Mercantile Home Collection to our customers. Each of these collections will feature antique-inspired designs fans will recognize from the couple’s show.
The Scotsman American Heirloom Collection is made of solid maple and available in three beautiful finishes: molasses, natural maple and cream. This bedroom collection has two different bed styles including a poster bed with arched headboard and another featuring woven seagrass panels. The seagrass panel style also features full bobbin-style posts; a feature incorporated into the companion pieces in this collection.
The Laurel Mercantile Home Collection is made of a mixture of solid wood and veneer and is available in tobacco, honey and weathered gray finishes. Grand will be carrying the poster bed with a unique bench style footboard which can also be used as additional storage. This collection features companion pieces including end tables, a mirror and six drawer chest. The couple is excited to work with Vaughan-Bassett, known for its American-made furniture. The collections are made from Virginia hardwoods in the company’s Galax, Va. plant and every time a tree is cut, one is planted to replace it.
Season three of “Home Town” will premiere on January 14 and will include footage of Ben working in his wood shop making some of the pieces you will see carried at Grand.
